Structural Basis for E. coli Penicillin Binding Protein (PBP) 2 Inhibition, a Platform for Drug Design.

TL;DR: Examination of the structure of the E. coli PBP2 in its Apo form and upon its reaction with 2 diazabicyclo derivatives, avibactam and CPD4, a new potent P BP2 inhibitor shows that unlike avibactsam, C PD4 can perform a hydrophobic stacking on Trp370 in the active site of E. bacteria.

Method of producing an inactivated lentivirus, especially HIV, vaccine, kit and method of use

TL;DR: In this article, a method for producing an immunogenic composition or vaccine comprising inactivated lentivirus, in particular inactivated HIV, where producer cells producing, preferably constituvely producing Lentivirus particles are provided, the lentiv virus particles are produced by these producer cells in the presence of an antiretroviral (ARV) agent which is an inhibitor of the IN-LEDGF/p75 interaction.
