Journal ArticleDOI
Oligothiophene-derivatized azobenzene as immobilized photoswitchable conjugated systems.
Sandrine Karpe,Maitena Ocafrain,Kacem Smaali,Stéphane Lenfant,Dominique Vuillaume,Philippe Blanchard,Jean Roncali +6 more
TL;DR: This work has shown thatobilization of an azobenzene-bithiophene compound on a gold surface leads to self-assembled monolayers with photoswitchable electrical properties that are suitable for high-performance liquid chromatography.
Journal ArticleDOI
Fine Tuning of the Electronic Properties of Linear π‐Conjugated Oligomers by Covalent Bridging
TL;DR: Electrochemical data confirm that covalent bridging strongly affects the HOMO and LUMO levels and these data demonstrate that the sites of fixation of the bridges on the pi-conjugated backbone exert a determining effect on the relative stability of the cation radical and dication.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effects of structure on the optical and redox properties of the oligothiophene— Tetrathiafulvalene hybrid system
Jean Roncali,Lennart Rasmussen,Christine Thobie-Gautier,Pierre Frère,Hugues Brisset,Marc Sallé,Jan Becher,O. Simonsen,Thomas K. Hansen,Amina Benahmed-Gasmi,Jesús Orduna,Javier Garín,Michel Jubault,Alain Gorgues +13 more
Journal ArticleDOI
Electropolymerized Self-Assembled Monolayers of a 3,4-Ethylenedioxythiophene-Thiophene Hybrid System†
Maitena Ocafrain,Truong Khoa Tran,Philippe Blanchard,Stéphane Lenfant,Sylvie Godey,Dominique Vuillaume,Jean Roncali +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) of a conjugated bithiophenic system connected to an alkanethiol chain have been deposited on gold surface.
Journal ArticleDOI
Contribution from a hole-conducting dye to the photocurrent in solid-state dye-sensitized solar cells
Eva L. Unger,Ana Morandeira,Mats P. Persson,Burkhard Zietz,Emilie Ripaud,Philippe Leriche,Jean Roncali,Anders Hagfeldt,Gerrit Boschloo +8 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that a triphenylamine-based dye, used as hole-transporting medium, contributes to the photocurrent in a squaraine-sensitized solid-state dye-s Sensitized solar cell.
