PD-L1 expression is regulated by both DNA methylation and NF-kB during EMT signaling in non-small cell lung carcinoma
Afag Asgarova,Kamal Asgarov,Yann Godet,Paul Peixoto,Arulraj Nadaradjane,Michaël Boyer-Guittaut,Jeanne Galaine,David Guenat,Virginie Mougey,Jérôme Perrard,Jean-René Pallandre,Adeline Bouard,Jérémy Balland,Charline Tirole,Olivier Adotevi,Elodie Hendrick,Michael Herfs,Pierre-François Cartron,Christophe Borg,Eric Hervouet +19 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that the expression of PD-L1 required both TNFα and TGFβ1, and it was demonstrated that it is overexpressed in VIMENTIN positive NSCLC tissues, andPD-L2 but not PD- L2 nor Galectin 9 or Death receptor expression was up-regulated during cytokine-driven EMT in a reversible manner.
Journal ArticleDOI
Novel Role for STAT3 in Transcriptional Regulation of NK Immune Cell Targeting Receptor MICA on Cancer Cells
Romain Bedel,Antoine Thiery-Vuillemin,Camille Grandclement,Jérémy Balland,Jean-Paul Remy-Martin,Bernadette Kantelip,Jean-René Pallandre,Xavier Pivot,Christophe Ferrand,Pierre Tiberghien,Christophe Borg +10 more
TL;DR: A novel role for STAT3 is revealed in NK cell immunosurveillance by modulating the MICA expression in cancer cells by modifying the expression of NK cell recognition receptor MHC class I chain-related protein A following STAT3 neutralization.
Journal ArticleDOI
Neuropilin-2 expression promotes TGF-β1-mediated epithelial to mesenchymal transition in colorectal cancer cells.
Camille Grandclement,Camille Grandclement,Jean René Pallandre,Jean René Pallandre,Severine Valmary Degano,Erika Viel,Adeline Bouard,Adeline Bouard,Jérémy Balland,Jérémy Balland,Jean-Paul Remy-Martin,Jean-Paul Remy-Martin,Benoit Simon,Alain Rouleau,Wilfrid Boireau,Michael Klagsbrun,Christophe Ferrand,Christophe Ferrand,Christophe Borg +18 more
TL;DR: The results suggest that neuropilin-2 fulfills all the criteria of a therapeutic target to disrupt multiple oncogenic functions in solid tumors and suggest a direct role of NRP2 in epithelial-mesenchymal transition.
Journal ArticleDOI
Prognostic value of baseline seric Syndecan‐1 in initially unresectable metastatic colorectal cancer patients: a simple biological score
Marine Jary,Thierry Lecomte,Olivier Bouché,Stefano Kim,Erion Dobi,Lise Queiroz,François Ghiringhelli,Hélène Etienne,Julie Léger,Yann Godet,Jérémy Balland,Zaher Lakkis,Olivier Adotevi,Franck Bonnetain,Christophe Borg,Dewi Vernerey +15 more
TL;DR: This study provides robust evidence in favor of the additional baseline soluble CD138 prognostic value for OS, in mCRC patients, and a simple biological scoring system is proposed including LDH and CD138 binary status values.
Journal ArticleDOI
A new anti-mesothelin antibody targets selectively the membrane-associated form
Kamal Asgarov,Jérémy Balland,Charline Tirole,Adeline Bouard,Virginie Mougey,Diana Ramos,António Barroso,Vincent Zangiacomi,Marine Jary,Stefano Kim,Maria Gonzalez-Pajuelo,Bernard Royer,Hans de Haard,Andrew Clark,John Wijdenes,Christophe Borg +15 more
TL;DR: This work demonstrates the potential to generate an antibody specific to the membrane-bound form of mesothelin, a glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored membrane protein that shows promise as a target for antibody-directed cancer therapy.
