Journal ArticleDOI

Ultrathin Nanofiltration Membrane from Confined Polymerization within the Nanowire Network for High Efficiency Divalent Cation Removal

TL;DR: This work reports a new generation of Membranes with high permeance and high rejection for di- and multivalent cation removal for efficient brackish water and industrial water treatment.
Journal ArticleDOI

Metal ion cross-linked nanoporous polymeric membranes with improved organic solvent resistance for molecular separation

TL;DR: In this article, a new generation of OSN membranes through facile metal ion cross-linking of integrally skinned asymmetric polyimide membranes is presented, where carboxyl functional groups are introduced into the polymer backbone as organic ligands.
Journal ArticleDOI

Organized Langmuir−Blodgett Monolayers and Multilayers Based on Semiamphiphilic Binuclear Phthalocyanine: Structural and Photovoltaic Characteristics

TL;DR: In this article, a kind of water-soluble binuclear cobalt phthalocyaninesulfonate (bi-CoPc) was synthesized and used to prepare Langmuir−Blodgett (LB) films by the semiamphiphilic technique.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effects on Carbon Molecular Sieve Membrane Properties for a Precursor Polyimide with Simultaneous Flatness and Contortion in the Repeat Unit.

TL;DR: Effects of chain flatness and contortion in polyimide precursor on gas separation performance of CMS membranes were studied in detail by gas adsorption and permeation experiment.
Journal ArticleDOI

Phylogenetic diversity and assemblage of major capsid genes (g23) of T4-type bacteriophages in paddy field soils during rice growth season in Northeast China

TL;DR: Analysis of partial major capsid gene (g23) sequences in DNA extracts from five paddy field soils in Northeast China during the flooded period of rice (Oryza sativa L.) cultivation demonstrated that T4-type phage community compositions varied among marine, lake, paddyField soil and upland soil environments.
