A survey on U-shaped networks in medical image segmentations
Liangliang Liu,Liangliang Liu,Jianhong Cheng,Quan Quan,Fang-Xiang Wu,Yu-Ping Wang,Jianxin Wang +6 more
TL;DR: A comprehensive literature review of U-shaped networks applied to medical image segmentation tasks, focusing on the architectures, extended mechanisms and application areas in these studies.
Journal ArticleDOI
A Fully Automated Multimodal MRI-Based Multi-Task Learning for Glioma Segmentation and IDH Genotyping
TL;DR: A fully automated multimodal MRI-based multi-task learning framework for simultaneous glioma segmentation and IDH genotyping and an uncertainty-aware pseudo-label selection is proposed to generate IDH pseudo-labels from larger unlabeled data for improving the accuracy of IDHgenotyping by using semi-supervised learning.
Journal ArticleDOI
Multimodal Disentangled Variational Autoencoder with Game Theoretic Interpretability for Glioma grading.
TL;DR: Wang et al. as mentioned in this paper proposed a deep neural network model termed as multimodal disentangled variational autoencoder (MMD-VAE) for glioma grading based on radiomics features extracted from preoperative multi-modal MRI images.
Journal ArticleDOI
COVID-19 mortality prediction in the intensive care unit with deep learning based on longitudinal chest X-rays and clinical data
Jianhong Cheng,John R Sollee,Celina Hsieh,Hailin Yue,Nicholas Vandal,Justin Shanahan,Ji Whae Choi,Thi My Linh Tran,Kasey Halsey,Franklin Iheanacho,James Warren,A. Ahmed,Carsten Eickhoff,Michael Feldman,Eduardo J. Mortani Barbosa,Ihab R. Kamel,Cheng Ting Lin,Thomas Yi,Terrance T. Healey,Paul J. Zhang,Jing Wu,Michael Atalay,Harrison Bai,Zhicheng Jiao,Jianxin Wang +24 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors used deep learning models using longitudinal chest X-rays (CXRs) and clinical data to predict in-hospital mortality of COVID-19 patients in the ICU.
Journal ArticleDOI
Prediction of Glioma Grade using Intratumoral and Peritumoral Radiomic Features from Multiparametric MRI Images.
TL;DR: This study proposed a novel radiomics-based pipeline by incorporating the intratumoral and peritumoral features extracted from preoperative mpMRI scans to accurately and noninvasively predict glioma grade and demonstrated to have strong generalization performance in an external validation dataset with 65 patients.
