Graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4)–Pt-TiO2 nanocomposite as an efficient photocatalyst for hydrogen production under visible light irradiation

TL;DR: The above experimental results show that the photogenerated electrons of g-C(3)N(4) can directionally migrate to Pt-TiO(2) due to the close interfacial connections and the synergistic effect existing between Pt- TiO (2) and g- C( 3)N (4) where photognerated electrons and holes are efficiently separated in space, which is beneficial for retarding the charge recombination and improving the photoactivity.
Journal ArticleDOI

Preparation of AgIn5S8/TiO2 Heterojunction Nanocomposite and Its Enhanced Photocatalytic H2 Production Property under Visible Light

TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of AgIn5S8/TiO2 molar ratio in the nanocomposites on the crystal phase, microstructure, optical absorption properties, and photocatalytic H2 evolution activity are investigated comparatively.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis of C60-decorated SWCNTs (C60-d-CNTs) and its TiO2-based nanocomposite with enhanced photocatalytic activity for hydrogen production

TL;DR: Experimental results suggest that the C(60)-d-CNTs as a novel carbon nanostructured material could be more beneficial for the photogenerated carrier separation than SWC NTs and C( 60) when these carbon nanstructured materials are coupled with TiO(2).
