Surface Functionalization of Gold Nanoparticles with Red Blood Cell Membranes

TL;DR: The combination of inorganic gold nanoparticles with biological membranes is a compelling way to develop biomimetic gold nanostructures for future applications, such as those requiring evasion of the immune system.
Journal ArticleDOI

Advances of blood cell-based drug delivery systems.

TL;DR: Synthetic biomaterials that mimic blood cell and nanocrystallization of blood cells have been developed and may represent the future direction for blood cell membrane‐based delivery systems.
Journal ArticleDOI

Biscarbamate cross-linked polyethylenimine derivative with low molecular weight, low cytotoxicity, and high efficiency for gene delivery.

TL;DR: The results indicated that the PEI-Et would be a promising candidate for safe and efficient gene delivery in gene therapy.
Journal ArticleDOI

Recent Advances in Cell Membrane-Derived Biomimetic Nanotechnology for Cancer Immunotherapy.

TL;DR: In this article, the use of biomimetic nanotechnology for developing effective cancer immunotherapeutics that demonstrate increased specificity and potency has been discussed, and the recent works and state-of-the-art strategies for anti-tumor immunotherapy are highlighted.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of bases with different solubility on the release behavior of risperidone loaded PLGA microspheres.

TL;DR: Mg(OH)₂, an inorganic base, and arginine, an organic base, were separately co-encapsulated into risperidone-loaded PLGA microspheres at varying concentration using the solvent evaporation method to improve release profiles from the microsphere.
