Journal ArticleDOI
Adenoviral‐mediated interleukin‐18 expression in mesenchymal stem cells effectively suppresses the growth of glioma in rats
Gang Xu,Xiao-dan Jiang,Ying Xu,Jing Zhang,Fanheng Huang,Zhen-Zhou Chen,De-Xiang Zhou,Jiang-Hua Shang,Yu-Xi Zou,Ying-qian Cai,Sheng-bin Kou,Yi-zhao Chen,Ru-xiang Xu,Yanjun Zeng +13 more
TL;DR: When used in conjunction with MSCs as targeting vehicles in vivo, IL‐18 may offer a promising new treatment option for malignant glioma.
Journal ArticleDOI
Functional mapping of rat brain activation following rTMS using activity-induced manganese-dependent contrast.
Zhiqiang Fa,Peng Zhang,Weiwei Wu,Zhijuan Wang,Fanheng Huang,Lujun Yang,Haigang Chang,Ruxiang Xu,Zhibo Wen,Jing Zhang,Yanjun Zeng,Xiao-dan Jiang +11 more
TL;DR: Investigation of the feasibility of using manganese-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (MEMRI) to measure the brain activity in rTMS studies found it can be used to reveal the changes ofbrain activity in live rats following rT MS.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effects of temporarily disrupting BBB on activity-induced manganese-dependent functional MRI.
Zhiqiang Fa,Run Zhang,Peng Li,Jing Zhang,Peng Zhang,Shaofang Zhu,Qu Wu,Fanheng Huang,Yanping Liu,Lujun Yang,Haigang Chang,Zhibo Wen,Dingguo Gao,Yanjun Zeng,Xiaodan Jiang +14 more
TL;DR: It is found that the signal in the visual cortex could be further enhanced on T1WI given visual stimulation after the restoration of BBB, which has an additional advantage in allowing Mn2+ to enter the CSF or brain for later transference to the activated brain area.
