Scenario-based multi-objective optimization of reservoirs in silt-laden rivers: A case study in the Lower Yellow River.

TL;DR: In this article , a scenario-based multi-objective optimization operation model for the Xiaolangdi reservoir considering hydropower generation, reservoir sedimentation and channel sedimentation was presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

A new multi-site multi-variable stochastic model with inter-site and inter-variable correlations, low frequency attributes and stochasticity: A case study in the lower Yellow River basin

TL;DR: In this article, a multi-scale quantile mapping and empirical copula based multi-site stochastic model was proposed to reconstruct low frequency attributes and inter-variable correlations.
Journal ArticleDOI

Monitoring the extreme flood events in the Yangtze River basin based on GRACE and GRACE-FO satellite data

TL;DR: In this paper , a new index incorporating temporally downscaled TWSA estimates combined with daily average precipitation anomalies is proposed to monitor the severe flood events at sub-monthly timescales for the Yangtze River basin (YRB), China.
Journal ArticleDOI

Understanding the impact of climatic variability on terrestrial water storage in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau of China

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors used Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment (GRACE)/GRACE Follow-on satellite data and meteorological observations to analyse the inter-annual trends of terrestrial water storage anomalies (TWSA) across the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau (QTP) during 2003-2020 and investigate the relationships between climatic variability and annual changes in TWSA.
