Controllable synthesis of hexagonal and orthorhombic YFeO3 and their visible-light photocatalytic activities

TL;DR: In this article, single phase hexagonal and orthorhombic YFeO3 were prepared by a citric acid assisted sol-gel process, and the prepared samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) specific surface area measurement, transmission electron microscopy (TEM), field emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM) and UV-Vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (DRS).
Journal ArticleDOI

RGO modified ZnAl-LDH as epoxy nanostructure filler: A novel synthetic approach to anticorrosive waterborne coating

TL;DR: In this article, the reduced graphene oxide-zinc-aluminum layered double hydroxides (rGO-ZnAl-LDH) micro-nano fillers were prepared via a one-step process, then modified by 3-aminopropyl triethoxysilane and incorporated into a waterborne epoxy (EP) matrix to produce a composite coating.
Journal ArticleDOI

Spray-coated monodispersed SnO2 microsphere films as scaffold layers for efficient mesoscopic perovskite solar cells

TL;DR: In this article, a series of monodispersed SnO2 microspheres with high specific surface area and good crystallinity are synthesized via a surfactant-free solvothermal method.
Journal ArticleDOI

High Surface Area Ceria for CO Oxidation Prepared from Cerium t-Butoxide by Combined Sol–Gel and Solvothermal Processing

TL;DR: CeO2 was synthesized by combined sol–gel and solvothermal processing of gels obtained from acetaldoximate-modified cerium(IV) t-butoxide in the presence of the non-ionic surfactant Pluronic F127 and indicated that activity scaled with surface area and thus was largest for samples solvothermally treated in ethanol.
