Journal ArticleDOI

Molecular Structure and Antioxidant Properties of Alkali Metal Salts of Rosmarinic Acid. Experimental and DFT Studies.

TL;DR: The molecular structure of alkali metal rosmarinates was studied using FT-IR, FT-Raman, 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy, as well as density functional theory (DFT) calculations to calculate optimized geometrical structures of studied compounds.
Journal ArticleDOI

Application of derivative spectrophotometry for determination of coenzyme Q10 in pharmaceuticals and plasma

TL;DR: The use of derivative spectrophotometry is proposed in this work for determination of coenzyme Q10 in formulations and in human plasma and the results agree well with declared value and with these obtained by HPLC.
Book ChapterDOI

Basic Principles and Analytical Application of Derivative Spectrophotometry

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed an isolation of an analyte from matrix to increase the selectivity of an assay, which can be successfully applied only in the case of simple samples, which composition is stable and well known or when highly selective reagents are used.
Journal ArticleDOI

Removal of Platinum and Palladium from Wastewater by Means of Biosorption on Fungi Aspergillus sp. and Yeast Saccharomyces sp.

TL;DR: In this article, Aspergillus sp. and yeast Saccharomyces sp. were used for removal of Pt(IV) and Pd(II) from environmental samples, and the best interpretation for the experimental data was given by the Langmuir isotherm.
Journal ArticleDOI

Simultaneous LC determination of some antidepressants combined with neuroleptics.

TL;DR: A reversed-phase HPLC method with UV detection at 252 nm is presented for the simultaneous determination of some tricyclic antidepressants (amitriptyline, imipramine) and neuroleptics (chlorprothixene, thioridazine) in their quaternary mixtures.
