Wave Equation With Cone-Bounded Control Laws
TL;DR: The asymptotic stability of the closed-loop nonlinear partial differential equations of the wave equation with a one-dimensional space variable that describes the dynamics of string deflection is proven by Lyapunov techniques.
Journal ArticleDOI
Observer-based event-triggered control co-design for linear systems
TL;DR: In this article, an observer-based event-triggered control strategy for linear systems using only local variables is presented, where sufficient conditions based on linear matrix inequalities (LMI) associated to convex optimization problems are proposed to ensure the asymptotic stability of the closed loop and the output convergence to a constant reference in both emulation and co-design contexts.
Journal ArticleDOI
Anti-windup Design for Time-delay Systems Subject to Input Saturation An LMI-based Approach
TL;DR: LMI-based optimization schemes for computing the anti-windup gains that lead to the maximization of the size of the region of stability associated to the closed-loop system are proposed and illustrated by means of numerical examples.
Journal ArticleDOI
Regional Stability Analysis of Discrete-Time Dynamic Output Feedback Under Aperiodic Sampling and Input Saturation
TL;DR: This technical note addresses the problem of regional stability analysis of a continuous-time plant controlled by a discrete-time dynamic output feedback control law with saturation constraints under aperiodic sampling with a proposed approach based on an impulsive system modeling and the use of looped functionals.
Journal ArticleDOI
PI event-triggered control under saturating actuators
TL;DR: Using Lyapunov theory techniques, conditions based on linear matrix inequalities are derived to guarantee regional asymptotic stability of the equilibrium and can be incorporated in optimisation problems to choose the parameters of the trigger function aiming at reducing the sampling activity.
