Journal ArticleDOI
Extra-large-pore zeolites with two-dimensional channels formed by 14 and 12 rings
TL;DR: IM-12 is reported, a thermally stable germanium-containing zeolite that contains the first two-dimensional channel system with extra-large pores formed by 14- and 12-ring channels.
Journal ArticleDOI
Energetics: a new field of applications for hydrophobic zeolites.
Journal ArticleDOI
Capacitance properties of ordered porous carbon materials prepared by a templating procedure
K. Jurewicz,Cathie Vix-Guterl,Elzbieta Frackowiak,S. Saadallah,M. Reda,M. Reda,Julien Parmentier,Joël Patarin,François Béguin +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the performance of two-electrode supercapacitors built with electrodes prepared from the templated carbon was tested in acidic, alkaline and organic electrolyte solutions, and high values of capacitance were obtained with a rectangular shape of the voltammograms over a wide range of scan rates indicating a quick charge propagation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effects of crystal size and Si/Al ratio on the surface properties of H-ZSM-5 zeolites
T. Armaroli,Laurent Simon,Mathieu Digne,Tania Montanari,Maria Assunta Bevilacqua,Valentin Valtchev,Joël Patarin,Guido Busca +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the surface properties of H-ZSM-5 zeolite have been compared with those of conventional small crystal size materials by using FT-IR spectroscopy of the surface hydroxyl groups and of adsorbed carbon monoxide.
Journal ArticleDOI
Supercapacitor electrodes from new ordered porous carbon materials obtained by a templating procedure
Cathie Vix-Guterl,S. Saadallah,K. Jurewicz,Elzbieta Frackowiak,M. Reda,M. Reda,Julien Parmentier,Joël Patarin,François Béguin +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a carbon material with a highly ordered porous structure was successfully prepared by a templating procedure using an organized mesoporous silica (type MCM-48) as template and various carbon precursors (propylene, sucrose or pitch).
