TL;DR: This review summarises recent systematic reviews and evidence-based guidelines that deal with the issue of how best to diagnose or define obesity in children and adolescents and is supportive of current guidelines that recommend percentile-based cut-offs relative to national reference data to define obesity.

TL;DR: The study results suggest that nutritional status at diagnosis, defined on the basis of the body mass index, at least in developed countries, has no effect on the prognosis in ALL, and it should not be considered as a prognostic factor.
