Correction: Corrigendum: Lateral photovoltaic effect in flexible free-standing reduced graphene oxide film for self-powered position-sensitive detection

TL;DR: Scientific Reports 6: Article number: 33525; published online: 16 September 2016; updated: 11 November 2016
Journal ArticleDOI

Development of n-type polymer semiconductors for organic field-effect transistors

TL;DR: In this paper, the development of unipolar n-type polymer semiconductors in organic field effect transistors, which would enable large-scale deployment of printed electronics in combination with a fast-growing area of p-type counterparts, is discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Lateral photovoltaic effect in flexible free-standing reduced graphene oxide film for self-powered position-sensitive detection.

TL;DR: Using a low-temperature reduction process, a chemical approach is reported for producing freestanding monolithic reduced graphene oxide papers with different gradients of the carbon/oxygen concentration ratio, which may suggest that the lateral photovoltaic effect in the reduction graphene oxide film originates from the built-in electric field by the combination of both the photothermal electric effect and the gradient of the oxygen-to-carbon composition.
Journal ArticleDOI

Bandgap engineering of nanosized carbon dots through electron-accepting functionalization

TL;DR: In this paper, the energy bandgap tuning of nanosized carbon dots by chemical modification with electron-accepting moieties was reported, where carbon dot derivatives were synthesized by oxidation and hydrothermal reaction, followed by addition/substitution reactions, resulting in uniform-sized carbon dots.
Journal ArticleDOI

Facile synthesis of UV-white light emission ZnSe/ZnS:Mn core/(doped) shell nanocrystals in aqueous phase

TL;DR: ZnSe/ZnS:Mn core/(doped) shell and ZnSe:Zn S:mn core/doped shell/shell nanocrystals (NCs) that emit white light were synthesized in aqueous media as discussed by the authors.
