Interviewer opinions, attitudes and strategies regarding survey participation and their effect on response

TL;DR: In this article, the authors focus on interviewers' opinions on nonresponse and their attitudes regarding the role of the interviewer in persuading potential respondents and find that interviewers with a positive attitude towards persuasion strategies attain a higher response rate.
Journal ArticleDOI

Randomized Response Analysis in Mplus

TL;DR: An approach to the analysis of randomized response data is viewed as a latent class problem, with different latent classes for the random and the truthful responses, using available structural equation modeling (SEM) software.
Journal ArticleDOI

Collinear Latent Variables in Multilevel Confirmatory Factor Analysis: A Comparison of Maximum Likelihood and Bayesian Estimations.

TL;DR: The results showed that inadmissible solutions were obtained when there was between level collinearity and the estimation method was maximum likelihood, and Bayesian estimation appeared to be robust in obtaining admissible parameters but the relative bias was higher than for maximum likelihood estimation.
Book ChapterDOI

Multilevel Structural Equation Models: the Limited Information Approach and the Multivariate Multilevel Approach

TL;DR: For example, this paper showed that standard multivariate models are not appropriate for the analysis of such hierarchical systems, even if the analysis includes only variables at the lowest (individual) level, because the standard assumption of independent and identically distributed observations is generally not valid.
