Analytical Synthesis of Generalized Multi-band Microwave Filters

TL;DR: In this paper, an analytical procedure for the synthesis of generalized multi-band filters is presented for both symmetric and asymmetric frequency responses and effective for any number of passbands and stopbands.
Journal ArticleDOI

Canonical ridge waveguide filters in LTCC or metallic resonators

TL;DR: In this paper, a new physical realization of an elliptic function filter response is proposed for achieving compact size, wide bandwidth, wide spurious free stopband and high selectivity performance.
Journal ArticleDOI

A 225 GHz Circular Polarization Waveguide Duplexer Based on a Septum Orthomode Transducer Polarizer

TL;DR: In this article, an efficient, compact, and high-isolation waveguide duplexer operating at 225 GHz is presented. But the design presented in this paper uses a ferrite-free duplexing concept based on transmitting and receiving in orthogonal circular polarizations.
Journal ArticleDOI

Silicon Micromachined Canonical ${\hbox{E}}$ -Plane and ${\hbox{H}}$ -Plane Bandpass Filters at the Terahertz Band

TL;DR: In this article, two canonical filter topologies based on E- and H-plane are implemented for the DRIE silicon micromachining process for the fabrication of the filters.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and design of in-line N-order filters with N real transmission zeros by means of extracted poles implemented in low-cost rectangular H-plane waveguide

TL;DR: In this article, an extension to the extracted pole technique for synthesizing N-order filters with N-transmission zeros at real frequencies is presented, and a new bandpass rectangular waveguide H-plane low-cost configuration filter for high-power low-loss application (patent pending) that implements a filtering function with finite real frequency transmission zeros is proposed.
