Journal ArticleDOI
Ultrasound-assisted emulsification–microextraction of emergent contaminants and pesticides in environmental waters
TL;DR: USAEME is proposed as an efficient, fast, simple and non-expensive alternative to other extraction techniques such as SPE, SPME and LPME for the analysis of environmental waters including bottled, tap, river, municipal swimming pool, sewage and seaport water samples.
Journal ArticleDOI
A comprehensive study on the phenolic profile of widely used culinary herbs and spices: rosemary, thyme, oregano, cinnamon, cumin and bay.
Anna Vallverdú-Queralt,Jorge Regueiro,Miriam Martínez-Huélamo,José Fernando Rinaldi de Alvarenga,L.N. Leal,Rosa M. Lamuela-Raventós,Rosa M. Lamuela-Raventós +6 more
TL;DR: Liquid chromatography coupled to high-resolution/accurate mass measurement LTQ-Orbitrap mass spectrometry was applied for the comprehensive identification of phenolic constituents of six of the most widely used culinary herbs and spices, some of them for the first time.
Journal ArticleDOI
Comprehensive identification of walnut polyphenols by liquid chromatography coupled to linear ion trap-Orbitrap mass spectrometry
Jorge Regueiro,Claudia Sánchez-González,Anna Vallverdú-Queralt,Jesus Simal-Gandara,Rosa M. Lamuela-Raventós,Maria Izquierdo-Pulido,Maria Izquierdo-Pulido +6 more
TL;DR: Liquid chromatography coupled with electrospray ionization hybrid linear trap quadrupole-Orbitrap mass spectrometry was applied for a comprehensive identification of phenolic compounds in walnuts and revealed the presence of eight polyphenols that have never been reported in walnut.
Journal ArticleDOI
Analysis of industrial contaminants in indoor air: Part 1. Volatile organic compounds, carbonyl compounds, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and polychlorinated biphenyls
TL;DR: Main literature considered in this review are papers from the last 10 years reporting analytical developments and applications regarding VOCs, aldehydes and other carbonyls, PCBs,PCDDs, PCDFs, and PAHs in the indoor environment.
Journal ArticleDOI
Trace analysis of parabens, triclosan and related chlorophenols in water by headspace solid-phase microextraction with in situ derivatization and gas chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry
TL;DR: An in situ derivatization solid-phase microextraction method has been developed for the determination of parabens, triclosan and related chlorophenols in water and quantification can readily be carried out by external calibration with ultrapure water standards.
