TL;DR: Biodegradation in the streams was characterized by an adaptation period (3-5 weeks for the stream as a whole, and reproducible from the previous year), which was inversely dependent on the concentration of pentachlorophenol and microbial biomass, and the sediment zone most significant to overall pentach chlorophenol biodegradation was the top 0.5- to 1-cm layer.
Journal ArticleDOI
Demethylation of methylcobalamin by platinum(IV) platinum(II) couples. Methyl transfer within a trinuclear intermediate
Journal ArticleDOI
Demethylation of methylcobalamin by platinum(IV) platinum(II) couples. Formation of methylplatinum(IV) products
Journal ArticleDOI
Structure-activity correlations among analogs of 4-methyl-3-heptanol, a pheromone component of the european elm bark beetle (Scolytus multistriatus)
TL;DR: It is suggested that the strength of a hydrogen bond to the 3-oxygen or 3-nitrogen is important in chemoreception by receptors that are involved in the behavioral response.
