Dynamics in artificial spin ice and magnetic metamaterials

TL;DR: In this article, the authors introduce some of the most common artificial spin-ice lattices and review recent experimental and theoretical progress in this emerging area, focusing on the collective behavior and the associated spin dynamics of the networks.
Journal ArticleDOI

Self-Hybridization and Tunable Magnon-Magnon Coupling in van der Waals Synthetic Magnets

TL;DR: In this article, the authors used both a modified macrospin model and micromagnetic simulations to demonstrate a comprehensive antiferromagnetic resonance spectra in van der Waals magnets near the ultrathin (monolayer) limit.
Journal ArticleDOI

Broad-band FMR study of ferromagnetic thin films patterned with antidot lattices

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors studied the effect of edge pinning of moments by individual antidot (AD) arrays on the evolution of spin textures in permalloy thin films of thickness t ǫ ≥ 25nm, patterned with square lattices of square-shaped AD of width D and separation d  = 1000 nm.

Probing magnon-magnon coupling in exchange coupled Y$_3$Fe$_5$O$_{12}$/Permalloy bilayers with magneto-optical effects

TL;DR: In this paper, the magnetically-induced transparency (MIT) effect in Y$_3$Fe$_5$O$12}$(YIG)/Permalloy(Py) coupled bilayers is demonstrated via a heterodyne detection of the coupled magnetization dynamics using a single wavelength that probes the magneto-optical Kerr and Faraday effects of Py and YIG, respectively.
