CGO: utilizing and integrating gene expression microarray data in clinical research and data management
Klaus Bumm,Mingzhong Zheng,Clyde Bailey,Fenghuang Zhan,Maurizio Chiriva-Internati,Paul Eddlemon,Julian Terry,Bart Barlogie,Julian D. Shaughnessy +8 more
TL;DR: Clinical GeneOrganizer is a novel windows-based archiving, organization and data mining software for the integration of gene expression profiling in clinical medicine and represents a valuable tool for combining gene expression analysis and clinical disease characteristics.
Journal ArticleDOI
Low Incidence of Complete Remission but Comparable Event-Free Survival(EFS) and Overall Survival (OS) with a History of Prior Monoclonal Gammopathy of Undetermined Significance (MGUS) or Smoldering Myeloma (SMM) among Patients Receiving Total Therapy 2 (TT 2).
Athanasios Fassas,Bart Barlogie,Erik Rasmussen,Teresa Milner,Julian Terry,Maurizio Zangari,Giampaolo Talamo,Choon-Kee Lee,Raymond Thertulien,John Crowley,Guido Tricot +10 more
TL;DR: The low incidence of stringently defined CR among patients with preceeding MGUS or SMM does not negatively impact EFS or OS after initiation of therapy for symptomatic/progressive MM; this lower incidence of CR may reflect the re-establishment of a stable precursor state due to the high level of drug resistance of these low proliferative activity conditions.
