Measuring Unsteady Drag of the Flow Around a Sphere Based on Time Series Displacement Measurements Using Physics-Informed Neural Networks
Experimental characterisation of a high Reynolds number turbulent boundary layer subjected to an adverse pressure gradient
S. Srinath,C. Cuvier,Jean-Marc Foucaut,Jean-Philippe Laval,Michel Stanislas,Christian J. Kähler,Rainer Hain,Sven Scharnowski,Andreas Schröder,Reinhard Geisler,Janos Agocs,Anni Röse,Christian Willert,Joachim Klinner,Julio Soria,Omid Amili,Callum Atkinson +16 more
TL;DR: Castillo et al. as mentioned in this paper showed that wall turbulence under the influence of a streamwise pressure gradient is still quite limited due to the lack of sufficiently high Reynolds number data and large facilities to reach an equilibrium state where theoretical scaling laws can be relevant.
Book ChapterDOI
Flow field measurements of separated and reattached flows
TL;DR: In this article, a mean, 2D separating and reattaching flow over a flat plate at a blunt flat plate was investigated using Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV).
Book ChapterDOI
Pre-detachment Acoustic Emission of a Bubble Emerging from an Orifice
TL;DR: In this article, an experimental technique where the acoustic pulse measured from a hydrophone was synchronised with the image acquisition from a high-speed camera was used to observe the behavior of the bubble surface during the initial stage of the acoustic emission.
