Urinary bladder involvement in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus: with review of the literature.
Jun-Ki Min,Jae Young Byun,Sang-Heon Lee,Yeon Sik Hong,Sung Hwan Park,Chul Soo Cho,Ho-Youn Kim +6 more
TL;DR: Diverse etiologies may cause lower urinary tract symptoms in patients with SLE and abdominal CT can be a useful radiologic tool to investigate the gastrointestinal tract involvement in Patients with lupus cystitis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Rebamipide attenuates autoimmune arthritis severity in SKG mice via regulation of B cell and antibody production.
J.-K. Byun,S.-J. Moon,J.-Y. Jhun,Eun-Kyung Kim,Jin-Sil Park,Jeehee Youn,Jun-Ki Min,Sung Hwan Park,Ho-Youn Kim,Mi-La Cho +9 more
TL;DR: Data show that i.p. administration of rebamipide suppresses arthritis severity by inducing Breg and Treg cells and suppressing Tfh and Th17 cells in a murine model of RA.
Journal ArticleDOI
The active metabolite of leflunomide, A77 1726, attenuates inflammatory arthritis in mice with spontaneous arthritis via induction of heme oxygenase-1.
Su-Jin Moon,Eun-Kyung Kim,Joo Yeon Jhun,Hee Jin Lee,Weon Sun Lee,Sang-Hi Park,Mi-La Cho,Jun-Ki Min +7 more
TL;DR: The inhibitory effects of A77 1726 on joint inflammation and oxidative stress in autoimmune arthritis may be associated with HO-1 induction in CD4+ T cells.
Journal ArticleDOI
NF-κB inhibition leads to increased synthesis and secretion of MIF in human CD4+ T cells
Mi-La Cho,Young-Mee Moon,Yu-Jung Heo,Yun-Ju Woo,Ji Hyeon Ju,Kyung-Su Park,Sung-Il Kim,Sung-Hwan Park,Ho-Youn Kim,Jun-Ki Min +9 more
TL;DR: N-acetylcysteine, an antioxidant precursor of glutathione, inhibited the parthenolide-induced and H(2)O(2)-induced secretion of MIF, indicating that pharmacological inhibition of NF-kappaB causes the release of Mif through de novo synthesis of M IF and the secretion of preformed MIF in CD4(+) T cells through the production of reactive oxygen species.
Journal ArticleDOI
Differences in quality of life determinants according to the presence of fibromyalgia in middle-aged female patients with systemic lupus erythematosus: a multicenter, cross-sectional, single-ethnicity cohort.
Su-Jin Moon,Kwi Young Kang,Seung-Ki Kwok,Ji Hyeon Ju,Y.-S. Hong,Sung-Hwan Park,Chan Hong Jeon,Sang Tae Choi,J.-S. Song,Jun-Ki Min +9 more
TL;DR: Determinants of health‐related quality of life in middle‐aged female patients with systemic lupus erythematosus differed according to the presence or absence of fibromyalgia.
