Proceedings ArticleDOI

Multipactor simulation of grooved dielectric window surface

TL;DR: In this article, the simulation model of electrons movement in grooves is built, and the physical process of rectangular grooves suppression breakdown has been discussed, while the movement trajectory of multipactor electron in Grooves is obtained.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Influence of Conductivity on Tangential Electric Field of Composite Interface of HVDC Cable Joint

TL;DR: In this article, the relationship between the conductivity ratio coefficient and the tangential electric field of the interface was investigated. And the authors found that reducing the difference of conductivity between XLPE and silicone rubber insulation can keep the Tangential Field Strength of interface at a relative low level.
Journal ArticleDOI

Surface discharge pattern of C4F7N/CO2 mixture under negative impulse voltages

TL;DR: In this paper , the surface discharge pattern of C4F7N/CO2 mixture under negative impulse voltages is investigated, which is the most concerned eco-friendly SF6 alternative gas.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

UHF antenna configuration optimization for partial discharge source localization in air-insulated substation

TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented a PD localization error simulation method, assuming that the estimated time difference of arrival (TDOA) error is normally distributed, the mean value and standard derivation of localization error for numerous positions in AIS were calculated with a Monte Carlo method.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Analysis of Statistical and Frequency Characteristics of Transient Overvoltage of Hybrid Cable-OHL Lines

TL;DR: In this article, the transient overvoltage during line re-energization with the use of EMT-type program was studied and it was found that most severe overvoltages appeared when cable share is 20% and its dominant frequency is 20.67 kHz.
