Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis of quinoline coupled [1,2,3]-triazoles as a promising class of anti-tuberculosis agents

TL;DR: The efficiency and fidelity of the Cu(I)-catalyzed azide-alkyne reaction are substantiated by good yields and exclusive formation of the expected 1,4-disubstituted triazole product.
Journal ArticleDOI

Novel saccharide–pyridine based gelators: selective gelation and diversity in superstructures

TL;DR: A series of N-glycosylamine based organogelators were synthesized from 4,6-O-protected saccharides introducing pyridylamines as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Expedient synthesis of coumarin-coupled triazoles via 'click chemistry' leading to the formation of coumarin-triazole-sugar hybrids.

TL;DR: In this paper, 3-azidomethylcoumarin and a terminal acetylenic compound were synthesized from a triazole based triazoles, and the B3LYP/6-31G(d) level of theory was used to calculate geometry and frequency features of the reactants, transition states (TSs) and products.
Journal ArticleDOI

Degradation of indulin, a kraft pine lignin, by Serratia marcescens.

TL;DR: Serratia marcescens isolated from decaying coconut pith exhibited high lignolytic activity and Ortho-Coumaric acid, ferulic acid, 2,3-dihydroxy cinnamic acid and protocatechuic acid were identified as intermediates involved in indulin degradation by S. marces cens.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis of quinoline-based glycoconjugates: a facile one-pot three-component reaction.

TL;DR: A multicomponent one-pot reaction involving propargyl glycosides, methoxy-substituted aromatic aldehydes and aromatic amines using Cu(I) as catalyst is described, which provides an efficient and practical route to synthesize several quinoline-based glycoconjugates in good yield.
