Journal ArticleDOI
Earthquake synchrony and clustering on Fucino faults (Central Italy) as revealed from in situ Cl-36 exposure dating
Lucilla Benedetti,Isabelle Manighetti,Yves Gaudemer,Robert C. Finkel,Jacques Malavieille,Khemrak Pou,Maurice Arnold,Georges Aumaître,Didier Bourlès,Karim Keddadouche +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors recover the Holocene earthquake history of seven seismogenic normal faults in the Fucino system, central Italy, and find that 30 large earthquakes broke the faults in synchrony over the last 12 ka.
Journal ArticleDOI
Preparation of \ASTER\ in-house 10Be/9Be standard solutions
Régis Braucher,Valery Guillou,Didier Bourlès,Maurice Arnold,Georges Aumaître,Karim Keddadouche,Emmanuelle Nottoli +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the NIST SRM 4325 reference material is used at the French national facility ASTER (CEREGE, Aix-en-Provence) to calibrate 10Be measurements and its dilution to the 10−14 level.
Journal ArticleDOI
Determination of muon attenuation lengths in depth profiles from in situ produced cosmogenic nuclides
Régis Braucher,Didier Bourlès,Silke Merchel,J.R. Vidal Romani,D. Fernadez-Mosquera,Kurt Marti,L. Leanni,F. Chauvet,Maurice Arnold,Georges Aumaître,Karim Keddadouche +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, a new approach based on the measurement of the evolution of cosmogenic nuclide concentrations along depth profiles to determine the muon attenuation lengths is proposed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Deglaciation in the central Pyrenees during the Pleistocene–Holocene transition: Timing and geomorphological significance
David Palacios,José María García-Ruiz,Nuria Andrés,Irene Schimmelpfennig,Néstor Campos,Laëtitia Léanni,Georges Aumaître,Didier Bourlès,Karim Keddadouche +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors used cosmic-ray exposure (CRE) dating to study deglaciation in a sector of the southern-central Pyrenees (the Panticosa massif and the upper Gallego and Ossau valleys).
Journal ArticleDOI
Steady erosion rates in the Himalayas through late Cenozoic climatic changes
Sebastien Jean Paul Lenard,Jérôme Lavé,Christian France-Lanord,Georges Aumaître,Didier Bourlès,Karim Keddadouche +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors measured beryllium-10 (10Be) in the sediment of the Bengal Bay seabed and found no long-term increase for the past six million years.
