Journal ArticleDOI
Triplet harvesting with 100% efficiency by way of thermally activated delayed fluorescence in charge transfer OLED emitters.
Fernando B. Dias,Konstantinos N. Bourdakos,Vygintas Jankus,Kathryn C. Moss,Kiran T. Kamtekar,Vandana Bhalla,Vandana Bhalla,José Santos,Martin R. Bryce,Andrew P. Monkman +9 more
TL;DR: It is shown that triplet states can be harvested with 100% efficiency via TADF, even in materials with ΔEST of more than 20 kT (where k is the Boltzmann constant and T is the temperature) at room temperature.
Journal ArticleDOI
Tuning the intramolecular charge transfer emission from deep blue to green in ambipolar systems based on dibenzothiophene S,S-dioxide by manipulation of conjugation and strength of the electron donor units.
Kathryn C. Moss,Konstantinos N. Bourdakos,Vandana Bhalla,Vandana Bhalla,Kiran T. Kamtekar,Martin R. Bryce,Mark A. Fox,Helen L. Vaughan,Fernando B. Dias,Andrew P. Monkman +9 more
TL;DR: The efficient synthesis and photophysical properties of a series of ambipolar donor-acceptor-donor systems is described where the acceptor is dibenzothiophene S,S-dioxide and the donor is fluorene, carbazole, or arylamine.
Journal ArticleDOI
The interplay of conformation and photophysical properties in deep-blue fluorescent oligomers.
Haiying Li,Andrei S. Batsanov,Kathryn C. Moss,Helen L. Vaughan,Fernando B. Dias,Kiran T. Kamtekar,Martin R. Bryce,Andrew P. Monkman +7 more
TL;DR: The synthesis, X-ray crystal structures and photophysics of new donor-acceptor oligomers of fluorene and dibenzothiophene-S,S-dioxide with constrained dihedral angles in the backbone are reported.
Journal ArticleDOI
Luminescent platinum(II) complexes containing cyclometallated diaryl ketimine ligands : synthesis, photophysical and computational properties.
Shashi U. Pandya,Kathryn C. Moss,Martin R. Bryce,Andrei S. Batsanov,Mark A. Fox,Vygintas Jankus,Hameed A. Al Attar,Andrew P. Monkman +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, a new series of platinum(II) complexes containing cyclometallated diaryl ketimine ligands has been synthesized, and the photophysical properties of the cyclometalated complexes are reported.
Journal ArticleDOI
Precise Control of Intramolecular Charge‐Transport: The Interplay of Distance and Conformational Effects
Christina Schubert,Mateusz Wielopolski,Lars-Hendrik Mewes,Gustavo de Miguel Rojas,Cornelia van der Pol,Kathryn C. Moss,Martin R. Bryce,Jacques-E. Moser,Timothy Clark,Dirk M. Guldi +9 more
TL;DR: Oligofluorenes prove, therefore, to be excellent bridges for probing how small structural variations affect charge transport in D-B-A systems.
