Sarah S. Kalia,Kathy Adelman,Sherri J. Bale,Wendy K. Chung,Christine M. Eng,James P. Evans,Gail E. Herman,Sophia B. Hufnagel,Teri E. Klein,Bruce R. Korf,Kent D. McKelvey,Kelly E. Ormond,C. Sue Richards,Christopher N. Vlangos,Michael S. Watson,Christa Lese Martin,David T. Miller +16 more
TL;DR: The new process for accepting and evaluating nominations for updates to the secondary findings list is described, and the updated secondary findings minimum list includes 59 medically actionable genes recommended for return in clinical genomic sequencing.

Medical Care of Adults With Down Syndrome: A Clinical Guideline.
Amy Y. Tsou,Amy Y. Tsou,Peter Bulova,George T. Capone,George T. Capone,Brian Chicoine,Bryn Gelaro,Terry Harville,Barry A Martin,Dennis McGuire,Kent D. McKelvey,Moya Peterson,Carl V. Tyler,Michael Wells,Michelle Sie Whitten +14 more
TL;DR: These evidence-based clinical guidelines provide recommendations to support primary care of adults with Down syndrome and the lack of high-quality evidence limits the strength of the recommendations and highlights the need for additional research.
Journal ArticleDOI
Low bone turnover and low bone density in a cohort of adults with Down syndrome.
Kent D. McKelvey,Tristan W. Fowler,Nisreen S. Akel,Jill Kelsay,Dana Gaddy,Galen R. Wenger,Larry J. Suva +6 more
TL;DR: It is suggested that diminished osteoblastic bone formation and inadequate accrual of bone mass, with no significant differences in bone resorption, are responsible for the low bone mass in Down syndrome.
