Oliver Laeyendecker,Ron Brookmeyer,Amy E. Oliver,Caroline E. Mullis,Kevin P. Eaton,Amy C. Mueller,Lisa P. Jacobson,Joseph B. Margolick,Joelle Brown,Charles R. Rinaldo,Thomas C. Quinn,Susan H. Eshleman +11 more
TL;DR: Low HIV viral load, low CD4 cell count, and >2 years of HAART were significantly associated with misclassification using the BED-CEIA, and some men were persistently misclassified as recently infected up to 8 years after HIV seroconversion.
Journal ArticleDOI
Circumcision of HIV-infected men and transmission of human papillomavirus to female partners: analyses of data from a randomised trial in Rakai, Uganda
Aaron A.R. Tobian,Xiangrong Kong,Maria J. Wawer,Godfrey Kigozi,Patti E. Gravitt,David Serwadda,Kevin P. Eaton,Fred Nalugoda,Thomas C. Quinn,Thomas C. Quinn,Ronald H. Gray +10 more
TL;DR: Because circumcision of HIV- Infected men did not affect transmission of high-risk HPV to their female partners, promotion of consistent safe sexual practices for HIV-infected men remains important.
Journal ArticleDOI
