Ferroelectricity of CH3NH3PbI3 Perovskite

TL;DR: It is concluded that MAPbI3 is not ferroelectric at room temperature; however, it is possible to induce and experimentally observe apparent ferro electric behavior through the proposed ways.
Journal ArticleDOI

Analysis of the thermoelectric properties of n-type ZnO

TL;DR: In this article, an investigation of the temperature and doping-dependent thermoelectric behavior of n-type ZnO has been conducted based on Boltzmann transport theory applied to the first-principles electronic structure.
Journal ArticleDOI

Stabilization of 4H hexagonal phase in gold nanoribbons

TL;DR: The high-yield solution synthesis of gold nanoribbons in the 4H hexagonal polytype, a previously unreported metastable phase of gold, is reported, which may open up new strategies for the crystal phase-controlled synthesis of advanced noble metal nanomaterials.
Journal ArticleDOI

Electrical conductivity and performance of doped LaCrO3 perovskite oxides for solid oxide fuel cells

TL;DR: In this paper, the electrical conductivity of LaCrO3 perovskites was investigated in both oxidizing and reducing atmospheres. And the highest conductivity was obtained with Ca- and Sr-doped LaCr O3, and preliminary electrochemical results indicate that Ca-and Srsdoped LSCM O3 shows promise as a cathode for solid oxide fuel cells.
Journal ArticleDOI

Strain effects on the band gap and optical properties of perovskite SrSnO3 and BaSnO3

TL;DR: In this paper, the band gaps and optical spectra of perovskite BaSnO3 and SrsnO3 were calculated as a function of the volumetric strain.
