AB0472 Predicting Factors Associated with Sustained Clinical Remission by Abatacept are Different Between in Younger and Elderly Patients with Biologic-Naïve Rheumatoid Arthritis (Abroad Study)
Masahiro Sekiguchi,Takao Fujii,Masayasu Kitano,Kiyoshi Matsui,H. Hashimoto,A. Yokota,K. Miki,Aihiro Yamamoto,T. Fujimoto,T. Hidaka,N. Shimmyo,K. Maeda,Takashi Kuroiwa,I. Yoshii,Kosaku Murakami,Koichiro Ohmura,Satoshi Morita,Yutaka Kawahito,Norihiro Nishimoto,Tsuneyo Mimori,Hajime Sano +20 more
TL;DR: The efficacy of ABT in biologic-naïve RA patients was equivalent between younger and elderly patient groups, while the baseline clinical characteristics in association with clinical remission were totally different.
Journal ArticleDOI
Clinical Images: Chronic Nonbacterial Osteomyelitis.
Yusuke Takeuchi,Kosaku Murakami,Nobuo Kuramoto,Ran Nakashima,Motomu Hashimoto,Yoshitaka Imura,Hajime Yoshifuji,Koichiro Ohmura,Tsuneyo Mimori +8 more
TL;DR: NADPH oxidase inhibits the pathogenesis of systemic lupus erythematosus and controls neutrophilic response to sterile inflammation in mice by regulating the IL-1a/G-CSF axis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Lack of association between a disease-susceptible single-nucleotide polymorphism, rs2230926 of TNFAIP3, and tumour necrosis factor inhibitor therapeutic failure in Japanese patients with rheumatoid arthritis

AB0653 The association of autoantibodies with morbidity and mortality of scleroderma renal crisis in Japan
Hideaki Tsuji,Nobuo Kuramoto,T. Sasai,Mirei Shirakashi,Hideo Onizawa,Koji Kitagori,Shuji Akizuki,Ran Nakashima,Ryu Watanabe,Akira Onishi,Kosaku Murakami,Hajime Yoshifuji,M. Y. Tanaka,M. Hashimoto,Koichiro Ohmura,Akio Morinobu +15 more
TL;DR: Overall survival of patients with SRC according to the type of autoantibodies is shown, and the 1-year survival of anti-centromere (100%), anti-RNA polymerase III (83%), and others/not detected (50%) were shown in patients negative for anti-topoisomerase I.
Journal ArticleDOI
[A new mechanism of autoantibody production: antigen presentation of misfolded protein by MHC class II].
TL;DR: In this paper, a new pathogenic mechanism for autoantibody production was proposed, where misfolded proteins bind to MHC class II in the endoplasmic reticulum and are processed to be presented at the cell surface.
