Hypoadiponectinemia Is an Independent Risk Factor for Hypertension
Yoshio Iwashima,Tomohiro Katsuya,Kazuhiko Ishikawa,Noriyuki Ouchi,Mitsuru Ohishi,Ken Sugimoto,Yuxiao Fu,Masaharu Motone,Kouichi Yamamoto,Akiko Matsuo,Koji Ohashi,Shinji Kihara,Tohru Funahashi,Hiromi Rakugi,Yuji Matsuzawa,Toshio Ogihara +15 more
TL;DR: Hypoadiponectinemia is a marker for predisposition to hypertension in men and blood pressure was inversely associated with adiponectin concentration in normotensives regardless of insulin resistance.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ken Sugimoto,Tomohiro Katsuya,Kazuhiko Ishikawa,Yoshihiro Iwashima,Kouichi Yamamoto,Yuxiao Fu,Akiko Matsuo,Masaharu Motone,Hiromi Rakugi,Toshio Ogihara +9 more
Journal ArticleDOI
Effects of Rikkunshi-To, a Japanese kampo medicine, on donepezil-induced gastrointestinal side effects in mice.
Kouichi Yamamoto,Yuhki Sato,Keisuke Hagihara,Kyosuke Kirikihira,Akito Jotaki,Ayana Michihara,Yumie Miyake +6 more
TL;DR: This paper investigated whether donepezil-induced gastrointestinal side effects in mice are ameliorated by Rikkunshi-To and if its therapeutic efficacy is mediated by ghrelin.
Journal ArticleDOI
Ps-c31-11: the relation between antihypertensive drugs and diuretics and adverse drug reactions in the older inpatients
Chie Hamaie,Yasushi Takeya,Tsuneo Nakajima,Yoichi Nozato,Serina Yokoyama,Toshimasa Takahashi,Kazuhiro Hongyo,Futoshi Nakagami,Hiroshi Akasaka,Youichi Takami,Kouichi Yamamoto,Hiromi Rakugi +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors investigated whether antihypertensive drugs and diuretics were associated with adverse drug reactions in the older inpatients, and the results showed no significant association between the disease that triggered admission and the occurrence of ADRs.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effects of Rikkunshi-To on the donepezil-induced gastrointestinal symptoms in mice
TL;DR: It is suggested that RKT is a candidate for the treatment of donepezil induced anorexia, nausea, and vomiting in human patients, and that the enhancement of ghrelin signaling is involved in its therapeutic effect.
