Journal ArticleDOI
A Chemodosimeter for the Ratiometric Detection of Hydrazine Based on Return of ESIPT and Its Application in Live-Cell Imaging
Shyamaprosad Goswami,Sangita Das,Krishnendu Aich,Bholanath Pakhira,Sukanya Panja,Subhra Kanti Mukherjee,Sabyasachi Sarkar +6 more
TL;DR: The probe is successfully demonstrated to enable the detection of hydrazine in live cells and results in the recovery of the ESIPT by removal of a free HBT moiety through subsequent substitution, cyclization, and elimination processes.
Journal ArticleDOI
Resonance-assisted hydrogen bonding induced nucleophilic addition to hamper ESIPT: ratiometric detection of cyanide in aqueous media.
Shymaprosad Goswami,Abhishek Manna,Sima Paul,Avijit Kumar Das,Krishnendu Aich,Prasanta K. Nandi +5 more
TL;DR: For ratiometric "naked eye" detection of CN(-), an ESIPT exhibiting benzothiazole receptor (BHI) is designed having one aldehyde group ortho and the other aldeocene para to the OH group respectively, which supported DFT and TD-DFT calculations.
Journal ArticleDOI
A red fluorescence ‘off–on’ molecular switch for selective detection of Al3+, Fe3+ and Cr3+: experimental and theoretical studies along with living cell imaging
Shymaprosad Goswami,Krishnendu Aich,Sangita Das,Avijit Kumar Das,Deblina Sarkar,Sukanya Panja,Tapan Kumar Mondal,Subhrakanti Mukhopadhyay +7 more
TL;DR: A spirobenzopyran-quinoline (SBPQ) based sensor was synthesized which selectively detects trivalent ions viz.
Journal ArticleDOI
Dual channel selective fluorescence detection of Al(III) and PPi in aqueous media with an ‘off–on–off’ switch which mimics molecular logic gates (INHIBIT and EXOR gates)
Shyamaprosad Goswami,Abhishek Manna,Sima Paul,Krishnendu Aich,Avijit Kumar Das,Shampa Chakraborty +5 more
TL;DR: A simple Schiff base type isophthaloyl salicylaldehyde hydrazone moiety is synthesized which selectively detects Al(III) and PPi with a fluorescence enhancement at two different wavelengths in aqueous solution and beautifully mimics logic gates.
Journal ArticleDOI
A naphthalimide–quinoline based probe for selective, fluorescence ratiometric sensing of trivalent ions
TL;DR: In this article, a new naphthalimide-quinoline based probe (NAQ) was designed and synthesized and its structure was confirmed through single crystal analysis, which showed a distinct ratiometric fluorescence behavior upon addition of trivalent metal ions in CH3CN-HEPES buffer solution.
