Redox‐Based Resistive Switching Memories – Nanoionic Mechanisms, Prospects, and Challenges
Journal ArticleDOI
Ionic conduction in zirconia films of nanometer thickness
TL;DR: In this article, polycrystalline 8 mol% Y2O3-stabilized ZrO2 films with thicknesses of 12 and 25 nm were deposited on (1 − 0 − 0) MgO substrates, their nanostructures were investigated by means of transmission electron microscopy (TEM), high-resolution TEM and atomic force microscopy, and the electrical properties of the nan-structured films were characterized in dry and humid O2.
Journal ArticleDOI
Spectroscopic study of the electric field induced valence change of Fe-defect centers in SrTiO3.
Christian Lenser,Aleksandr Kalinko,Alexei Kuzmin,Dzintars Berzins,Juris Purans,Kristof Szot,Kristof Szot,Rainer Waser,Rainer Waser,Regina Dittmann +9 more
TL;DR: A detailed study of the Fe dopant in the regions around the anode and cathode reveals new insights into the local structure and valence state of Fe in SrTiO(3) single crystals.
Journal ArticleDOI
Influence of Dislocations in Transition Metal Oxides on Selected Physical and Chemical Properties
Kristof Szot,Christian Rodenbücher,Gustav Bihlmayer,Wolfgang Speier,Ryo Ishikawa,Naoya Shibata,Yuichi Ikuhara +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a review on dislocations in prototypic binary and ternary oxides using modern TEM and scanning probe microscopy (SPM) techniques, combined with classical etch pits methods, is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI
Detection of Fe2+ valence states in Fe doped SrTiO3 epitaxial thin films grown by pulsed laser deposition
Annemarie Koehl,Dariusz Kajewski,Jerzy Kubacki,Christian Lenser,Regina Dittmann,Paul Meuffels,Kristof Szot,Kristof Szot,Rainer Waser,Rainer Waser,Jacek Szade +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, an X-ray absorption spectroscopy study on Fe-doped SrTiO3 thin films grown by pulsed laser deposition was carried out and the Fe L2,3 edge spectra were recorded for doping concentrations from 0-5% after several annealing steps at moderate temperatures.
