Thermal performance of plate-type loop thermosyphon at sub-atmospheric pressures

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors examined the thermal performance of a newly devised plate-type two-phase loop thermosyphon with cooling applications to electronic boards of telecommunication systems.
Journal ArticleDOI

Heat transfer in a twin-blow narrow channel with two opposite walls roughened by skewed ribs arranged in staggered manner

TL;DR: In this article, the authors performed detailed heat transfer measurements over a skewed-rib roughened surface in a rectangular narrow channel with two equal-area flow entrances located on two adjacent edges of a channel-corner.
Journal ArticleDOI

Detailed Heat Transfer Measurements of Curved Fin Channels

TL;DR: In this paper, a set of curved fin channels with twin-and single-flow exits is simulated for cooling of a cylindrical fin array for electronic chipsets, and the impact of L/D ratio and exit condition on local Nu distributions over curve fin surfaces at Reynolds numbers (Re) of 500, 1,000, 1.2, and 1.25-1.8 are examined.

Forced Heat Convection of Wavy Fin Channel

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors measured the detailed heat transfer distributions over the wavy fin channel with twin flow exits that simulates an elongated flow passage in a fin array and compared the heat transfer results acquired from both flat and wavy channels.
