Journal ArticleDOI

Cardiac Aging: From Basic Research to Therapeutics.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors discuss several key molecular mechanisms of cardiac aging and possible prevention and treatment methods developed in recent years, which are necessary to protect against age-related diseases, extend lifespan, and reduce the increasing burden of cardiovascular disease in elderly individuals.
Journal ArticleDOI

DDX5 and DDX17—multifaceted proteins in the regulation of tumorigenesis and tumor progression

TL;DR: The molecular structure features and biological functions of DDX5/DDX17 and their effects on tumorigenesis and tumor progression, as well as their potential clinical application for tumor treatment are discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Apigenin alleviates oxidative stress-induced myocardial injury by regulating SIRT1 signaling pathway.

TL;DR: Wang et al. as mentioned in this paper showed that apigenin pretreatment can significantly improve cardiomyocyte morphology, decrease H/R induced oxidative stress, and attenuate cell apoptosis and inflammation in vitro.
Journal ArticleDOI

Corrigendum: DDX5 and DDX17—multifaceted proteins in the regulation of tumorigenesis and tumor progression

TL;DR: In this article , the authors correct the article DOI: 10.3389/fonc.2022.943032, and present a new version of the article.
