Journal ArticleDOI

Voxel-based analysis of MRI reveals anterior cingulate gray-matter volume reduction in posttraumatic stress disorder due to terrorism.

TL;DR: The voxel-based morphometry showed a significant gray-matter volume reduction in the left anterior cingulate cortex (ACC) in trauma survivors with PTSD compared with those without PTSD, providing further support for the important role of ACC.
Journal ArticleDOI

Accurate preoperative evaluation of liver mass lesions without fine‐needle biopsy

TL;DR: The aim of this study was to validate prospectively the accuracy of the diagnostic work‐up without FNB, for defining indications for surgery in a cohort of patients with focal liver lesions (FLLs), and the use of FNB should be drastically limited.
Journal ArticleDOI

Model-based iterative reconstruction technique for radiation dose reduction in chest CT: comparison with the adaptive statistical iterative reconstruction technique.

TL;DR: Diagnostically acceptable chest CT images acquired with nearly 80 % less radiation can be obtained using MBIR, and model-based iterative reconstruction (MBIR) significantly improves image noise and artefacts over adaptive statistical iterative techniques.
Journal ArticleDOI

Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma: preoperative assessment with helical CT versus dynamic MR imaging.

TL;DR: Dynamic MR imaging may be better than helical CT in the preoperative detection and evaluation of local tumor extension and of vascular involvement of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinomas.
