Possibility of the Formation of Cyclols from Simple Peptides

TL;DR: In a series of communications in NATURE, Dr. D. M. Wrinch as discussed by the authors has put forward a new hypothesis on the structure of certain proteins, the cyclol-theory, which states that peptide chains should be capable of uniting to form two-and three-dimensional nets.

Diffraction of X-Rays by Bence-Jones Protein

A. Magnus-Levy, +2 more
- 01 Apr 1936 -
TL;DR: In this article, the sharp diffraction spectra obtained from single pepsin crystals were used to construct diagrams with spacings between 10 A. and 40 A. The diagrams were then used to detect the presence of oxyhaemoglobin.
