Journal ArticleDOI
Switching from tenofovir and nucleoside analogue therapy to tenofovir monotherapy in virologically suppressed chronic hepatitis B patients with antiviral resistance.
Dong Yun Kim,Hye Won Lee,Jeong Eun Song,Beom Kyung Kim,Seung Up Kim,Do Young Kim,Sang Hoon Ahn,Kwang Hyub Han,Jun Yong Park +8 more
TL;DR: The step‐down strategy of switching from TDF+NUC combination therapy to TDF monotherapy in virologically suppressed CHB patients with antiviral resistance should be considered.
Journal ArticleDOI
Analysis of miRNA expression patterns in human and mouse hepatocellular carcinoma cells.
Sinhwa Baek,Kyung Joo Cho,Hye Lim Ju,Hyuk Moon,Sung Hoon Choi,Sook In Chung,Jun Yong Park,Ki Hong Choi,Do Young Kim,Sang Hoon Ahn,Kwang Hyub Han,Simon Weonsang Ro +11 more
TL;DR: This work assessed expression of miRNA in surgically resected human HCC of an early stage and murine HCC with a high malignancy in order to find miRNA overexpressed in HCC regardless of tumor stage and underlying etiology.
Journal ArticleDOI
Refractoriness to transarterial chemoembolization in patients with recurrent hepatocellular carcinoma after curative resection.
Mi Young Jeon,Hye Soo Kim,Tae Seop Lim,Dai Hoon Han,Beom Kyung Kim,Jun Yong Park,Do Young Kim,Sang Hoon Ahn,Gi Hong Choi,Jin Sub Choi,Kwang Hyub Han,Seung Up Kim +11 more
TL;DR: More than 2 TACE procedures within 6 months might be associated with the refractoriness to TACE in patients with recurrent HCC after curative resection.
Journal ArticleDOI
Diagnostic accuracy of biomarkers measured in the hepatic vein and peripheral vein in the prediction of advanced fibrosis in patients with chronic viral hepatitis
Ki Tae Suk,Dong Joon Kim,Chang Hoon Kim,Seung Ha Park,Jae Youn Cheong,Sung Won Cho,Jong Young Choi,Kwang Hyub Han,Ho Taik Sung,So Hyung Hong,Dae Yong Kim,Jai Hoon Yoon,Yeon Soo Kim,Gwang Ho Baik,Jin Bong Kim +14 more
TL;DR: While most biomarkers were correlated better with hepatic fibrosis in HV than in PV, individually and in predictive logit-models, they were inadequate to determine the degree of advanced fibrosis.
Assessment of the Efficacy of Reducing Peginterferon Alfa-2a and Ribavirin Dose on Virologic Response in Koreans with Chronic Hepatitis C.
Jung Hyun Kwon,Si Hyun Bae,Kwan Sik Lee,Kwang Hyub Han,Han Chu Lee,Young-Suk Lim,Seung Woon Paik,Kwan Soo Byun,Seung Kew Yoon,Jong Young Choi +9 more
TL;DR: Using at least 80% of the peginterferon α-2a dose in Koreans not only maintains SVR but also reduces drug side effects during the entire treatment period, suggesting a lower dose of ribavirin may be as efficacious as a standard dose.
