Journal ArticleDOI
BA71ΔCD2: a New Recombinant Live Attenuated African Swine Fever Virus with Cross-Protective Capabilities
Paula L. Monteagudo,Anna Lacasta,Elisabeth Lopez,Laia Bosch,Javier Collado,Sonia Pina-Pedrero,Florencia Correa-Fiz,Francesc Accensi,Maria Jesus Navas,Enric Vidal,María J. Bustos,Javier M. Rodríguez,Andreas Gallei,Veljko Nikolin,María L. Salas,Fernando Rodriguez +15 more
TL;DR: Inoculation of pigs with the deletion mutant virus BA71ΔCD2 protected pigs not only against experimental challenge with BA71, the virulent parental strain, but also against heterologous viruses, including Georgia 2007/1, the genotype II strain of ASFV currently circulating in Eastern Europe.
Journal ArticleDOI
Accidental extubation in prone position: Report of two cases and proposal of an algorithm for airway management.
Journal ArticleDOI
Mortality and incidence of cardiovascular events in patients treated with aspirin and statins at one year after myocardial injury in noncardiac surgery: a prospective observational study.
S. Beltrán De Heredia,A. Mases,Lluís Recasens,Sergi Sabaté,M. Recuerda Nuñez,Laia Bosch,Lorena Casado Román,Mireia Rueda,Elia Alonso,Lluis Gallart +9 more
TL;DR: Rates of mortality and MACCE in patients with silent MINS were high despite aspirin-statin therapy and cardiology follow-up, and new postoperative care protocols that might effectively improve outcomes are needed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Prediction of Acute Myocardial Injury in Noncardiac Surgery in Patients at Risk for Major Adverse Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular Events: A Multivariable Risk Model.
A. Mases,S. Beltrán De Heredia,Lluis Gallart,Lorena Casado Román,Laia Bosch,M. Recuerda Nuñez,Mireia Rueda,Lluís Recasens,Sergi Sabaté +8 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors developed a risk model for acute myocardial injury prediction and proposed an algorithm to optimize post-operative troponin surveillance for non-cardiac patients.
