Grain Size‐Dependent Properties of Dense Nanocrystalline Barium Titanate Ceramics

TL;DR: In this article, the grain size influence on the dielectric relaxation and nonlinear properties of BaTiO3 ceramics with grain size in the range of (92÷936) nm densified by Spark Plasma Sintering (SPS) from ultrafine powders were investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Grain size effect on the nonlinear dielectric properties of barium titanate ceramics

TL;DR: In this article, the nonlinear dielectric properties of dense BaTiO3 ceramics with grain size of 1'μm-90'nm were investigated and a remarkable nonhysteretic linear dc-tunability [e(E)] was obtained at high field, above 40 kV/cm.
Journal ArticleDOI

High-field dielectric properties and Raman spectroscopic investigation of the ferroelectric-to-relaxor crossover in BaSnxTi1−xO3 ceramics

TL;DR: In this paper, the detection of specific features related to the ferroelectric-to-relaxor crossover with increasing Sn content is possible by combining techniques, and the results confirm the conclusions from the Raman and dielectric studies.
Journal ArticleDOI

Investigation of the composition-dependent properties of BaTi1−xZrxO3 ceramics prepared by the modified Pechini method

TL;DR: In this paper, the evolution of Raman spectra and low-field dielectric properties against temperature indicated the occurrence of diffuse ferroelectric-paraelectric phase transitions for all the BTZ compositions under investigation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Preparation and characterization of barium titanate stannate solid solutions

TL;DR: BaSn x Ti 1− x O 3 ( x ǫ = 0, 0.05; 0.1; 0., 0.2) solid solutions were prepared via conventional solid state reaction and sintered at 1300°C for 4h, resulting in dense single phase ceramics with homogeneous microstructures as mentioned in this paper.
