Mesoarchaean-Palaeoproterozoic stratigraphic record of the Singhbhum crustal province, eastern India: a synthesis
Rajat Mazumder,Rajat Mazumder,A.J. van Loon,Leena Mallik,Steven M. Reddy,Makoto Arima,Wladyslaw Altermann,P.G. Eriksson,S. De +8 more
TL;DR: The Mesoarchaean-Palaeoproterozoic stratigraphic record of the Singhbhum crustal province implies sedimentation and volcanism in a changing tectonic scenario and thus assumes immense geological significance as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Palaeo-Mesoproterozoic sedimentation and tectonics of the Singhbhum Craton, eastern India, and implications for global and craton-specific geological events
Rajat Mazumder,Shuvabrata De,Tohru Ohta,David Flannery,Leena Mallik,Trisrota Chaudhury,Priyanka Chatterjee,Marinah A. Ranaivoson,Makoto Arima +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors summarized the Palaeo-Mesoproterozoic supracrustal record of the Singhbhum Craton, discussed tectonosedimentary processes and discriminated between global and craton-specific events.
Journal ArticleDOI
Sedimentation history of the Paleoproterozoic Singhbhum Group of rocks, eastern India and its implications
Shuvabrata De,Leena Mallik,Rajat Mazumder,Priyanka Chatterjee,Tohru Ohta,Satoshi Saito,Jeffrey R. Chiarenzelli +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the sedimentological, geochemical and stratigraphic characteristics of the Chaibasa and Dhalbhum Formations (the Singhbhum Group) of eastern India are reviewed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Pseudouridine synthase 7 is an opportunistic enzyme that binds and modifies substrates with diverse sequences and structures
Meredith Purchal,Daniel E. Eyler,Mehmet Tardu,Monika K Franco,Megan M. Korn,Taslima Khan,Ryan McNassor,R Giles,Katherine Lev,Hari Sharma,Jeremy Monroe,Leena Mallik,Markos Koutmos,Kristin S. Koutmou +13 more
TL;DR: The structure of yeast pseudouridine synthase 7 (Pus7) is revealed and it is demonstrated that Pus7 interacts promiscuously with RNAs containing UGUAR sequences, supporting a role for PUS7 in providing cells with a mechanism to rapidly alter protein synthesis in response to cellular conditions.
Journal ArticleDOI
Tidal rhythmites in offshore shale: A case study from the Palaeoproterozoic Chaibasa shale, eastern India and implications
TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented sedimentological analysis of vertically accreted tidal rhythmites from the Palaeoproterozoic Chaibasa shale facies in India, and quantification of their tidal rhythms.
