Journal ArticleDOI
Adsorption of congo red and methylene blue dyes on an ashitaba waste and a walnut shell-based activated carbon from aqueous solutions: Experiments, characterization and physical interpretations
Zichao Li,Hassan Hanafy,Hassan Hanafy,Lei Zhang,Lotfi Sellaoui,Matias Schadeck Netto,Marcos L.S. Oliveira,Moaaz K. Seliem,Guilherme Luiz Dotto,Adrian Bonilla-Petriciolet,Qun Li +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, the adsorption of congo red and methylene blue dyes in aqueous solution were characterized via XRD, FTIR and SEM techniques and the dye isotherms at three temperatures were quantified.
Journal ArticleDOI
Adsorption of dyes brilliant blue, sunset yellow and tartrazine from aqueous solution on chitosan: Analytical interpretation via multilayer statistical physics model
Lei Zhang,Lotfi Sellaoui,Dison S. P. Franco,Guilherme Luiz Dotto,Abdullah Bajahzar,Hafedh Belmabrouk,Adrian Bonilla-Petriciolet,Marcos L.S. Oliveira,Zichao Li +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, a multilayer statistical physics model was applied to understand the dye adsorption at different temperatures (i.e., 298 −328 K) and pH 3.
Journal ArticleDOI
Simultaneous Optimization of Ultrasound-Assisted Extraction for Flavonoids and Antioxidant Activity of Angelica keiskei Using Response Surface Methodology (RSM).
TL;DR: The experimental results provide a theoretical basis for the extensive utilization of A. keiskei and flavonoids extraction and antioxidant activity evaluation as a potential source of antioxidants.
Journal ArticleDOI
Highly Efficient Flame Retardant Hybrid Composites Based on Calcium Alginate/Nano-Calcium Borate
TL;DR: The combined results indicate that the calcium borate had a nano-effect, accumulating more freely in the hybrid composites and contributing significantly to both the solid phase and gas phase, resulting in an efficient improvement in the flame retardancy of the composites.
Journal ArticleDOI
An Alginate Hybrid Sponge with High Thermal Stability: Its Flame Retardant Properties and Mechanism.
Yuhuan Jiang,Xuening Pang,Yujia Deng,Sun Xiaolu,Xihui Zhao,Peng Xu,Peiyuan Shao,Lei Zhang,Qun Li,Zichao Li,Zichao Li +10 more
TL;DR: The combined results suggest promising prospects for the application of CAS in a range of fields and the sponge materials provide an alternative for the commonly used PU and PS sponge materials.
