Journal ArticleDOI

Recombination in Perovskite Solar Cells: Significance of Grain Boundaries, Interface Traps, and Defect Ions

TL;DR: A direct correlation is found between the density of traps, thedensity of mobile ionic defects, and the degree of hysteresis observed in the current–voltage (J–V) characteristics of perovskite solar cells.
Journal ArticleDOI

Efficient vacuum deposited p-i-n and n-i-p perovskite solar cells employing doped charge transport layers

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors demonstrate fully vacuum deposited planar perovskite solar cells by depositing methylammonium lead iodide in between intrinsic and doped organic charge transport molecules.
Journal ArticleDOI

Efficient Monolithic Perovskite/Perovskite Tandem Solar Cells

TL;DR: In this article, a perovskite/perovsite tandem solar cells were constructed using two perov-site absorbers with complementary bandgaps, which achieved a maximum efficiency of 18% by using doped organic semiconductors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Removing Leakage and Surface Recombination in Planar Perovskite Solar Cells

TL;DR: In this article, a three-order reduction of the shunt loss mechanism in planar methylammonium lead iodide perovskite solar cells by replacing the commonly used hole transport layer poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) with a better hole-selective polyarylamine was demonstrated.
