Journal ArticleDOI

The SCFCOI1 Ubiquitin-Ligase Complexes Are Required for Jasmonate Response in Arabidopsis

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that COI1 associates physically with AtCUL1, AtRbx1, and either of the Arabidopsis Skp1-like proteins ASK1 or ASK2 to assemble ubiquitin-ligase complexes, which are designated SCF(COI1), and that the axr1 and coi1 mutations display a synergistic genetic interaction in the double mutant.
Journal ArticleDOI

An Arabidopsis mutant cex1 exhibits constant accumulation of jasmonate-regulated AtVSP, Thi2.1 and PDF1.2.

TL;DR: A novel recessive mutant is isolated and characterized, cex1, conferring constitutive JA‐responsive phenotypes including JA‐inhibitory growth and constitutive expression of JA‐regulated AtVSP, Thi2.1 and PDF1.2, indicating that CEX1 might be a negative regulator of the JA response pathway.
Journal ArticleDOI

Isolation of the Novel Strain Bacillus amyloliquefaciens F9 and Identification of Lipopeptide Extract Components Responsible for Activity against Xanthomonas citri subsp. citri

TL;DR: Results show that B. amyloliquefaciens F9 and its lipopeptide components have the potential to be used as biocontrol agents against Xcc, and other plant pathogenic bacteria and fungi.
Journal ArticleDOI

The Methyltransferase HemK Regulates the Virulence and Nutrient Utilization of the Phytopathogenic Bacterium Xanthomonas citri Subsp. citri

TL;DR: It is indicated that HemK plays an essential role in virulence, the regulation of virulence factor synthesis, and the nutrient utilization of Xcc.
Journal ArticleDOI

Coronavirus RNA-dependent RNA polymerase interacts with the p50 regulatory subunit of host DNA polymerase delta and plays a synergistic role with RNA helicase in the induction of DNA damage response and cell cycle arrest in the S phase

TL;DR: In this article , the authors showed that infection of cells with gammacoronavirus infectious bronchitis virus (IBV) activated the theataxia-telangiectasia mutated (ATM) Rad3-related (ATR)/checkpoint kinase 1 (Chk1) pathway and induced cell cycle arrest in S and G2/M phases, partially through the interaction of nsp13 with the p125 catalytic subunit of DNA polymerase delta (pol δ).
