Triassic southeastward subduction of North China Block to South China Block: Insights from new geological, geophysical and geochemical data

TL;DR: In this paper, a new and revolutionary tectonic model was proposed to explain the distribution and exhumation of high pressure (HP)-ultra-high pressure (UHP) metamorphic rocks of the Dabie-Sulu Belt.
Journal ArticleDOI

Mesozoic plate subduction in West Pacific and tectono-magmatic response in the East Asian ocean-continent connection zone

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors summarized the comprehensive achievements of deformation analysis, igneous geochronology, tomography and other field observations in the East Asian Continental Margin in recent decade, briefly discussing the pre-Yanshanian final assembly of blocks and the formation of the unified continental margin in China, and mainly focusing on the review of Jurassic and Cretaceous geological processes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Source and accumulation of gas hydrate in the northern margin of the South China Sea

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a simple model for the gas hydrate accumulation system in the NSCS Basin and encircled and predicted the potential hydrate zones based on the proven gas hydrates distribution zone.
