Journal ArticleDOI
First Ln-MOF as a trifunctional luminescent probe for the efficient sensing of aspartic acid, Fe3+ and DMSO
TL;DR: To the authors' knowledge, it is the first Ln-MOF that can act as a luminescent probe for the efficient sensing of DMSO, while the lone pair of electrons in the O of D MSO attacked the positive charge at the protonation carboxylic acid of H5cpboda.
Journal ArticleDOI
A bifunctional chemosensor for detection of volatile ketone or hexavalent chromate anions in aqueous solution based on a Cd(II) metal–organic framework
TL;DR: In this article, a new porous metal-organic framework with chemical formula of [Cd3(cpota)2(phen)3]n·5nH2O (MOF-1) (H3cpota = 2-(4-carboxyphenoxy)terephthalic acid & phen = 1,10-phenanthroline) has been synthesized and characterized by infrared spectroscopy, elemental analysis, thermogravimetry and X-ray single crystal and powder diffracting methods.
Journal ArticleDOI
Potent inhibition of protein tyrosine phosphatase 1B by copper complexes: implications for copper toxicity in biological systems
TL;DR: A new dinuclear copper complex and several Cu-amino acid complexes inhibit protein tyrosine phosphatase 1B competitively at submicromolar levels, suggesting that copper complexes may interfere with cellular signaling pathways by inhibiting protein tyrolysis phosphatases.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis, structures and magnetic properties in 3d-electron-rich isostructural complexes based on chains with sole syn-anti carboxylate bridges.
TL;DR: In this paper, a series of 3D carboxylate coordination polymers [M(H2bpta)]n, (H4bpta = 2,2′,4,4′-biphenyltetracarboxylic acid, M = Fe(II), Ni(II) (2), Cu(II, (3) and Zn(II)) (4)), was synthesized in H2O-CH3CN or H 2O solvents, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI
A Molecular Helix: Self-Assembly of Coordination Polymers from d10 Metal Ions and 1,10-Phenanthroline-5,6-dione (pdon) with the Bridges of SCN− and Cl− Anions
TL;DR: In this paper, a number of half-filled d-configurations of metal ions with anions were synthesized and structurally characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction.
