Direct Z-scheme PDA-modified ZnO hierarchical microspheres with enhanced photocatalytic CO2 reduction performance

TL;DR: In this paper, a self-assembled polydopamine (PDA)-modified ZnO hierarchical microsphere was prepared by self-assembling the functional groups on dopamine to enhance the light-to-fuel harvesting efficiency.
Journal ArticleDOI

Emerging 2D/0D g-C3N4/SnO2 S-scheme photocatalyst: New generation architectural structure of heterojunctions toward visible-light-driven NO degradation

TL;DR: This work found that intrinsic oxygen vacancies of SnO2 nanoparticles and S-scheme charge transfer addressed the limitation of other heterojunction types and offered the best photocatalytic NO degradation and photostability under visible light with the removal of more than 40% NO at 500 ppb throughout the experiment.
Journal ArticleDOI

0D/2D (Fe0.5Ni0.5)S2/rGO nanocomposite with enhanced supercapacitor and lithium ion battery performance

TL;DR: In this paper, an asymmetric supercapacitor, assembled by FeNiS/rGO as the positive electrode and activated carbon as the negative electrode, delivers a high energy density of 64.3
Journal ArticleDOI

0D/2D NiS/CdS nanocomposite heterojunction photocatalyst with enhanced photocatalytic H2 evolution activity

TL;DR: In this paper, a heterojunction composed of zero-dimensional (0D) nickel sulfide nanoparticle and cadmium sulfide (CdS) flower is tactfully constructed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Single-atom heterogeneous photocatalysts

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors summarize the development of single-atom photocatalysts (SAPs), focusing on their properties, geometric structures, synthetic strategies, characterization techniques, and applications.
