Proceedings ArticleDOI

Ionospheric signatures of solar-wind magnetosphere interaction in dayside aurora

TL;DR: In this paper, a statistical study has identified 476 poleward-moving auroral forms (PMAFs) from twelve years of ground-based optical data and a time distribution between successive PMAF events is presented.

Deep Learning of Detecting Ionospheric Precursors Associated With M ≥ 6.0 Earthquakes in Taiwan

TL;DR: In this article , the authors applied deep learning to the ionospheric total electron content (TEC) data between 2003 and 2014 to detect the seismo-ionospheric precursors of M ≥ 6.0 earthquakes in Taiwan.
Journal ArticleDOI

Particle simulations of collisionless magnetic reconnection in magnetospheric current sheets

TL;DR: In this article, the driven collisionless magnetic reconnection processes at the dayside magnetopause and in the magnetotail were investigated through 2.5 D particle simulations. And the authors found that magnetic field configurations with both a single X line and multiple X lines are obtained.
