Journal ArticleDOI
Flexible Adult Acquired Flatfoot Deformity: Comparison Between Weight-Bearing and Non-Weight-Bearing Measurements Using Cone-Beam Computed Tomography.
Cesar de Cesar Netto,Lew C. Schon,Gaurav K. Thawait,Lucas Furtado da Fonseca,Apisan Chinanuvathana,Apisan Chinanuvathana,Wojciech Zbijewski,Jeffrey H. Siewerdsen,Shadpour Demehri +8 more
TL;DR: WB images better demonstrated the severity of osseous derangement in patients with flexible adult acquired flatfoot deformity, and are obtainable using high-resolution cone-beam CT.
Journal ArticleDOI
Metal artifact reduction MRI of total ankle arthroplasty implants.
Cesar de Cesar Netto,Cesar de Cesar Netto,Lucas Furtado da Fonseca,Benjamin Fritz,Steven Stern,Esther Raithel,Mathias Nittka,Lew C. Schon,Jan Fritz +8 more
TL;DR: MRI of TAA implants with CS-SEMAC improves the diagnosis of interface osteolysis, periprosthetic bone marrow oedema, fractures and tendinopathy when compared to high-BW TSE, and has a positive effect on patient management.
Journal ArticleDOI
The regenerative mechanisms of platelet-rich plasma: A review.
Rafael Gonzalez dos Santos,Gabriel Silva Santos,Natasha Alkass,Tania Liana Chiesa,Gabriel Ohana Marques Azzini,Lucas Furtado da Fonseca,Antonio Fernando dos Santos,Bruno Rodrigues,Tomas Mosaner,José Fábio Santos Duarte Lana +9 more
TL;DR: The platelet-rich plasma derivatives are orthobiologic tools of particular interest as mentioned in this paper, which can be obtained via centrifugation of a patient's whole blood and the components can then be subsequently isolated, concentrated and ultimately administered into injured tissues, particularly in areas where standard wound healing is disrupted.
Journal ArticleDOI
Prospective study of the “ Inside-Out” arthroscopic ankle ligament technique: Preliminary result
TL;DR: Despite the limited cohort and the relatively short follow-up period, the use of the "inside-out" arthroscopic technique may be considered as a valid option for the treatment of chronic ankle instability.
Journal ArticleDOI
Outcomes of flexor digitorum longus (FDL) tendon transfer in the treatment of Achilles tendon disorders
Cesar de Cesar Netto,Cesar de Cesar Netto,Apisan Chinanuvathana,Lucas Furtado da Fonseca,Eric J. Dein,Eric W. Tan,Lew C. Schon +6 more
TL;DR: Clinical and functional results of patients treated with flexor digitorum longus (FDL) tendon transfer in the treatment of patients with chronic Achilles tendon disorders showed good clinical outcomes with low complications and donor site morbidity.
